clusterctl slurm user add

clusterctl slurm user add

clusterctl slurm user add

Associate a user with an account

Synopsis

Associate a user with an account in the cluster whose login node the clients run on, creating the user when it has no association there yet. ACCOUNT defaults to slurm.defaultAccount. DEFAULT_ACCOUNT becomes the user’s default account, which for a new user is ACCOUNT unless given; a default account the user is not associated with is associated too. The confirmation says what the defaults resolved to.

The cluster is asked whether the user exists at all before anything is written, with getent. getent reads the name service switch of the login node, local accounts included, so check the directory when that matters. A number is refused, because getent would resolve it as a user ID.

clusterctl slurm user add USER [ACCOUNT] [DEFAULT_ACCOUNT] [flags]
